West Java Provincial Government Strengthens Support for Patimban Industrial Estate

8 October 2025 - Created By undefined

The West Java Provincial Government has reaffirmed its full support for the Patimban Industrial Estate through a jointly signed agreement, officially executed by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi. The cooperation pact was simultaneously signed by the Head of the West Java Investment and One-Stop Services Agency (Dinas PMPTSP West Java), Dedi Taufik. The agreement marks a significant step toward creating a more conducive investment climate and advancing Subang as a new industrial hub.

The government supports many elements to ease business expansion and enhance the estate’s investment appeal. Key elements include accelerated permitting processes to simplify investment and operations within the estate and fiscal incentives such as relief on local taxes and levies to reduce initial costs for incoming companies. The provincial government will also intensify investment promotion through business forums, targeted business-matching activities, and digital campaigns to widen opportunities for strategic partnerships.

Attention is likewise focused on labor readiness. Subang benefits from tens of thousands of new graduates entering the workforce each year, and wage levels that remain compatible with company financing schemes. To meet demand for skilled human resources, the regional government prioritizes the absorption of local labor through vocational programs and link-and-match initiatives with vocational high schools (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, SMK). These efforts aim to ensure a steady supply of job-ready talent that benefits both companies and local communities. Partnerships with micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) are also being promoted to strengthen regional economic linkages.

Finally, to ensure the estate is operationally ready, the availability of ready-to-build land within Patimban Industrial Estate will be supported by the regional government's provision of surrounding basic infrastructure. In the cooperation agreement, local authorities committed to accelerating the construction of essential infrastructure — including access roads, public facilities, and supporting amenities — while insisting that the estate development will proceed under sustainability principles. Developers are expected to balance industrial activity with environmental preservation and local wisdom, ensuring that Patimban’s development delivers not only short-term economic gains but long-term, sustainable value for Subang and West Java as a whole.
